Blocking contacts in a step

Preventing contacts from moving forward, until the step they are in is approved
In some cases, you might want to review a user’s answers or documents before they are allowed to move forward in the workflow.
This is possible using step blockers: conditions that must be filled before the contact can move forward.
Here are the accepted conditions:
- The contact must have their form approved before being able to move to next step
- The contact must have their documents approved before being able to move to next step
- The contact must perform all the tasks in a checklist step, before moving forward
- The contact must sign a document before being able to move forward
How to add step blockers?
From your workflow settings, click on the “pencil” icon next to each step, and choose if the step must have a condition for the contact to be able to move forward.

The feature is pretty straightforward as of now, but we will improve it in the next few months, with more capabilities!
