How to update a contact

You can update a contact directly from the Contacts page: app.superdocu.com/fr/c/contacts.

Steps

  1. Open the Contacts page.
  2. Use the search bar at the top of the page to find the contact.
  3. You can search by first name, last name, or email address.
  4. Click the contact in the list to open their profile.
  5. On the contact page, look for the Actions section on the right.
  6. Click the Edit button.
  7. The edit form will open.
  8. Update the information you want to change.
  9. Click Update to save your changes.

Example: changing the email address

If the contact has a new email address:

  1. Open their profile.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Replace the old email address with the new one.
  4. Check the other information if needed.
  5. Click Update to save.

Important to know

If you change a contact’s email address:

  • they will need to sign in with the new email address from now on;
  • future emails and login links will be sent to that new address;
  • the old email address will no longer work for access to the space.

If the contact already received a login link on their old email address, they will need to request a new link using their new email address.

If you cannot find the contact

Check that:

  • you are on the Contacts page;
  • the name or email entered in the search bar is correct;
  • no filter is hiding the contact.
