What is Superdocu?
Superdocu is a document and information collection platform for businesses. It lets you define structured collection processes (sequences), invite contacts to complete them step by step, and automate reminders — without any back-and-forth email.
Who is Superdocu for?
Superdocu is built for any team that regularly collects documents or information from external parties: HR departments, real estate agencies, mortgage brokers, legal firms, logistics companies, consultants, and more.
How does Superdocu work?
- You create a sequence with one or more steps (documents, forms, screens, signatures).
- You invite contacts by email. They receive a magic link to their dedicated space.
- Contacts complete each step in order.
- You review, accept, or reject submissions from your dashboard.
- Automated reminders are sent to contacts with missing items.
What is a sequence?
A sequence is a structured collection process made up of ordered steps. Each step can include documents to upload, forms to fill, information screens, or DocuSign contracts to sign. See Understanding workflow fields and modules for details.
What types of form fields are available?
Text, email, IBAN, number, date, country, URL, dropdown (select), radio buttons, multiple choice, boolean (yes/no), scale, star rating, matrix, and section headers.
How do contacts access their space?
Contacts receive a magic link by email — no password required. They can request a new link at any time from the login page. See How to log in to my secure space and My sign-in link has expired — what should I do?.
What is an active contact?
An active contact is a contact currently enabled in your workspace. Your plan defines the maximum number of active contacts. See What is an active request for more.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All files are encrypted at rest. Contact data is protected with industry-standard encryption. Your data is hosted in Europe. See Is my data safe?.
What file formats are accepted?
PDF, images (JPEG, PNG, HEIC), Word documents, and more. See Allowed file formats on Superdocu for the full list.
What integrations does Superdocu support?
Depending on your plan: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Sellsy, DocuSign, Zapier, Webhooks, and a REST API. See Integrating with Zapier and DocuSign integration guide.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. You can configure a custom domain for your contacts’ space. See How to use a custom domain with Superdocu.
Can I invite multiple team members?
Yes. You can invite team members and assign roles with specific permissions (contacts, sequences, billing, integrations, portals, and more).
What is a portal?
A portal is a self-service entry point linked to a sequence. Contacts can register themselves without being individually invited. You can add a screening question to filter access and customize welcome and denial messages. See How to customize my portal.
